A path through technology, data and complex systems
In the second half of the 1990s, he was among the founders of one of the first Italian companies working in advanced Internet and telecommunications, contributing to pioneering web projects when the network was still an open, experimental space largely waiting to be invented.
He later worked as a consultant, developer and entrepreneur in renewable energy, territorial management and complex technical decision-making processes, on projects in Italy and abroad.
For several years, he has explored artificial intelligence as a tool for analysis, writing, research, data modelling and the development of applied systems. His interest concerns not only what AI allows us to do, but also what it changes in the human ways of thinking, choosing, knowing and delegating.
His recent work includes applied research projects involving big data, territory, wine, decision models and artificial intelligence, including Drops of Italy, an initiative devoted to the relationship between wine, territory, data and innovation.
